Michael Stevens (bass) obtained his BM in Jazz Studies from Howard University in Washington , D.C. while studying under pianist and recording artist Geri Allen. While in D.C., Mr. Stevens was an instructor for D.C. Artworks Summer Youth Program. In Austin , he works regularly with James Polk, Pam Hart, Blaze, and Tina Marsh's Circle of Light.
