The Jazz at St. James’ Concert Series weekend will
feature Newman & Fuller performing both Friday
and Saturday nights, November 14th-15th. They will be joined by
pianist James Polk, drummer Cadino Newman, and Michael
Stevens on bass. Austin’s 1st Lady of Jazz, vocalist Pamela
Hart, along with Mike Malone, Kevin Scott, William
Menefield & Wendell Williams, will grace our stage as the opening act
both nights. Doors open at 
6:30 p.m. Show time is 7:30 p.m.
Saturday morning, November 15th, our legendary guest artists will lead the Jazz at St. James’ Workshop and “Informance.” This educational session is offered to jazz students and fans of all ages. We especially encourage young students to come. This rare opportunity is FREE and starts at 11:00 a.m. at St. James’ Episcopal Church. Be prepared to be inspired.
On Sunday, November 16th, St. James’ Episcopal Church offers 4 Jazz Masses. The 8:00 a.m. service will feature a special guest performer to be announced; the 10:15 a.m. service features Newman and Fuller; the 1:00 p.m. service, in Spanish, features Buscando El Monte; and the 6:00 p.m. service features The Jeff Lofton Quintet. The featured artists will perform at the masses without charge to the public.

Directions from Ed Bluestein (US 183 S): Take MLK Blvd exit and head west. Turn left onto Tannehill Lane and bear right onto Webberville Rd. Directions from Airport Blvd or IH-35: Turn onto MLK Blvd and head east. Turn right at the light onto Tannehill Lane, and bear right onto Webberville Rd. The church will be on the left.
