J.D. Abrams, LP is a heavy highway contractor. They are seeking qualified female and minority applicants, eighteen years of age or older. Drug testing prior to employment and random tests during employment. The work is heavy, strenuous and performed outdoors. Jobs are challenging, good paying and there are opportunities for advancement.

Though there are a number of companies and organizations that have donated money for scholarship use to African Americans, a great deal of the money is being returned because of a lack of interest.
